Ask any K-beauty connoisseur about their skin-care staples, and, chances are, sheet masks will come up within the first few seconds. The ultra-concentrated complexion savers are considered the "hero product" in most Korean's skin-care routines, and since the K-beauty craze made its way stateside a few years back, many Americans have jumped on the bandwagon.
Proof lies in the numbers: Peach & Lily founder Alicia Yoon just shared with Allure that it sold thousands and thousands (as in tens of thousands) of its brand-new Original Glow Sheet Mask Set. It sold out almost right away on the very first day it dropped.
"The masks sold out insanely fast on both our site and on QVC," Yoon tells me in an email. She added that the brand is working hard to bring them back as soon as humanly possible. But why all the hype? Not only is it a sheet mask kit curated by the popular Korean beauty e-tailer, but it also appears to yield some seriously remarkable results. Those results are highlighted on Peach & Lily's website (as well as below) in the form of before-and-after photos, which are likely to make your jaw drop.
In them, the tester's skin appears glow-y, firm, and smooth, thanks to a cocktail of powerhouse peptides and nourishing ingredients like mushroom extract, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and avocado extract. Yoon also notes that the ingredient list is super-clean and devoid of harsh chemicals and known irritants that harm the skin.
